A good LMS can offer a lot of data that will help instructors analyze and report back to the stakeholders in an online course.
The example provided offered:
- Enrollment information
- Communication log between instructor and stakeholder
- Student participation time
- Student Feedback
One aspect the instructor might take into consideration in an online course when analyzing the data is when assignments are due and have them due on a Sunday evening giving the student the weekend to catch up. Instructors should try to be flexible as students in the online environment are probably online because of other responsibilities.
